The PTO is always looking for parents to help. The one way you can help is to get involved. Come to PTO meetings and find out more about what teachers need and what events the PTO is holding. The PTO values your input.
We cannot run events unless we get parents to help with the events. When the PTO runs events, we need parents to help plan the event, set up for the event, help during the event, and help after the event to clean up. We appreciate any help you can give us, even if it is for an hour.
One of our first events we need help for is coordinating the dinner for teachers on Parent Teacher Conference Night on October 27th.
Teachers stay late after school on Thursdays to do parent teacher conferences. The PTO provides dinner for the teachers on Thursday Night, October 27th. Dinner needs to be something the teachers can grab and bring back to their classrooms or eat quickly and usually consists of sandwiches, fruit, beverages. Dinner needs to be at Fox Meadow school to the teachers lounge by 5 pm on October 27th.
We need a parent or parents to organize and provide the dinner for the teachers.
The PTO has water, plates, napkins and plastic wear. All of other items needed will need to be provided.
If you would like to help, please contact the PTO at firstname.lastname@example.org.
One of the biggest events we hold is the Halloween Hop. The Halloween Hop will be on Friday, October 28th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We need lots of help to pull off this yearly event. We need parents to help in the haunted hallway, help set up for the event, help during the event, and help clean up after the event. If you would be willing to help, please contact the PTO at email@example.com.
