Box Tops are a quick and easy way to help the PTO raise money. Find products that have Box Tops on them. Clip the box tops. Send the Box Tops to school with your child. The PTO sends in the Box Tops and receives a check.
Each Box Tops Clip is worth 10 cents for your school. Occasionally, Bonus Box Tops or Bonus eBoxTops of a different value are issued for special promotions.
It’s very important that each Box Tops clip has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date. If we are unable to read the acronym or expiration date, Box Tops cannot accept the clip. Additionally, expired Box Tops are not accepted. If the expiration date only shows a year that is in the future, it will be accepted. And remember, clipped Box Tops don’t need to be trimmed perfectly – you can cut them neatly or just tear them off the package.
There are four types of Box Tops. Be sure to check out the Get Started page for more details.
- Box Tops Clips – these are found on hundreds of product packages and are worth $.10 for your school.
- Bonus Certificates –Look for these primarily in stores on specially marked packages and at checkout printed on a receipt. These vary on value based on the promotion. Bonus codes begin with the letter A.
- eBox Tops Codes – Occasionally, you may come across a printed 16 digit eBoxTops code. This must be redeemed online for your school to receive credit.
- Bonus eBox Tops – When you are a member of BTFE.com and participate in your grocers loyalty card program, you can earn Bonus eBox Tops . These electronic bonuses are automatically credited to your school.
What’s more you can obtain special coupons on the Box Tops web site. Go to the Box Tops web site and select the Save on Products link.
To submit your Box Tops to the PTO you can tape the box tops on one of the Collection Sheets available from the Box Tops web site. You can also send them in a baggie to your child’s teacher.
Throughout the year the PTO will hold contests to see which classroom collects the most Box Tops. The winning class will get a special ice cream treat.
We will have our first collection on September 23rd and again on October 21st.
Labels for Education (LFE) can be found on various foods. Fox Meadow PTO collects Labels for Education for Washington Elementary School. Why do we do this? Fox Meadow already has so many different events we hold during the school year which raises money for our school. We wanted to help out another U46 school who could use the help raising money. You can send in any Labels for Education to the PTO, preferably in a separate baggie than Box Tops, and we will forward them onto Washington Elementary.
